Reinstall SQL SERVER

Hi,
I have a server with SQL Server 2000, and the sql are with
problems. Everyday a lot of people work on a base of data
in SQL. Can I reinstall the SQL in a normal day with that
all people working without harming her work?

JoaoWHat are your problems? Reinstalling is a bit extreme of
a solution.
Unless you were installing a new instance and not
overwriting the existing one, you would definitely affect
the availability of SQL Server, because you are
essentially uninstalling and reinstalling. You would need
to back up any databases first, uninstall, reinstall SQL,
then restore the DBs.
