Relationship diagrams in SQL mobile 2k5

I looked in the manual as to how I should go about putting a realtionship diagram for my database. Unfortunatly i do not see the Diagram node in the object browser they are reffering to. Does anyone know how I can create a relationship diagram for my mobile database?

You can choose Add Data Connection in Visual Studio 2005, connect to your SQL Mobile database, and then use the Query Designer, choosing all of the tables you wish to see in your diagram. The diagram is presented right there in Visual Studio 2005.

Reinstalling MSDTC on Windows 2003

Hello,
Does anyone know how to reinstall MSDTC on Windows 2003?
I have a 2 node SQL 2000 cluster (active/passive) which is having problems
failing over to the other node. Failing over the MSDTC Group to the other
node causes MSDTC to fail with Application EVENT ID 4156 ("RPC raised an
exception with a return code RPC_S_INVALIDA_ARG"). The System Log generates
EVENT ID 1069 ("Cluster resource 'MSDTC Resource' in Resource Group 'MSDTC
Group' failed").
I've been able to find an article explaining how to reinstall MSDTC on
Windows 2000, but not on Windows 2003. Any assistance on this would be much
appreciated. Thanks
Hi
Searching Google for "RPC raised an exception with a return code
RPC_S_INVALIDA_ARG" turned up a few threads, of which this one may be of
interest http://tinyurl.com/cnoqm

DNS seems fine as i can connect to and from the server across the network.
No other errors are generated apart from the MSDTC and Cluster errors. SQL
fails over successful, just not the MSDTC group

There is a note on there at the bottom, which says if you're using Windows
2003 to refer to the article http://support.microsoft.com/kb/301600/. That
only goes through setting up MSDTC on 2003 initially.
I'm not sure if the method for rebuilding MSDTC in that article applies to
Windows 2003 due to the note at the bottom, referring us to KB301600.

Reinstall 2nd Node - SQLServer

Cluster active-active. The installation in one server was lost and the S.O.
was reinstalled. Now in one node there are two instances. How can I reinstall
de second node and move the instance to it ?
Look up Maintaining a Failover Cluster in SQL Books-Online. It has step by
step instructions on how to replace a failed cluster node.

Failure"
In one of the steps is necessary Remove the node from a virtual server (SQL
Server). My doubt is if in this moment the instance will be unavailable.
The last step is install SQL Server. Is it possible rebuild node to the
virtual server before install SQL Server ?

restore a node under these exact circumstances. If you do the installation
according to the instructions, the instance will not need to go offline. If
you do not follow the instructions, you may damage your installation.

I tried to follow the instructions and the setup asked me to Uninstall the
Instance. What does it mean ? The instance will be removed physically ? My
doubt is in this moment. I'm not sure what SQL Setup will do. If the 2
instances will keep available or not. I'm in production environment and the
instances can't be unavailable.
thanks,
Simone

|||The SQL installer needs to modify the remaining bits on Node 1 to remove all
references to Node 2. In essence, it is erasing all traces of Node 2 from
the SQL instance. It will not completely remove your SQL instance. If this
is done correctly, the SQL instance currently running on Node 1 will not be
affected.

Registering SQL SERVER

Hi,
How to register a Remote SQL SERVER from a node in Local Area Network? You need to set up a linked server. See Linked Server in Books Online. If you need more help, let us know.

Registering SQL Server

I m having 2 servers i wansted register the SQL server at one node
when i m registering the SQL server through SQL enterprises it showing the
error
"Unable to connect the sql server unavailable of does not exist"
what can be the problem

Yousuf Khan
ProgrammerHi
You could have typed in the wrong name, the server is not using the
protocols you have configured or ports/permissions are not set up correctly
to allow you to connect e.g. a firewall or restricted account.
Can you connect using Query Analyser?
You may want to try specifying the IP address instead if the name?

Can you connect to an administrative share eg \\server_name\c$ ?
Can you launch Enterprise Manager on the server and connect to the local
instance? Can you connect EM on one SQL Server to the other SQL Server?
Do you know which network library SQL Server is using? I didn't know that
it could use NetBEUI so if the servers are communicating only on NetBEUI and
SQL Server is communicating on Named Pipes or TCP/IP, might this not cause a
problem?
Cheers,
IM|||I am able to conncet to local machine EM not able to other server, i am using
netbeui protocol through Win NT i m getting his share and users but not
getting conneted to sql server
